The following research aims to explore the effects cause the relaxation techniques in the attention of children from the age of three to four years in an institution located in Guayaquil Ecuador; after the implementation of a pedagogical innovation based on relaxation sessions. The research has a qualitative approach, in which the type of investigation is using pre test and post test of two checklists, the first one about the previous knowledge that students have in the practice of relaxation techniques, and the second one evaluated how the attention of children is in the classroom; in the investigation we also used to blogs to obtain results. The effects achieved through the implementation of the 12 relaxation sessions were very significant in the 17 children of the study group. According to the results, as it is evidenced in the tables, in the post-test tests and in the daily blogs it is stated that the sessions improved significantly the attention of the children and that there was an increase in the use of terminology such as: breathing, inhale, exhale, relax and calm. Finally, it can be affirmed that the application of the pedagogical innovation in the planned sessions improved the level of attention of children of the select institution.
