Recursos en línea: Resumen: This research paper's objective was to motívate EFL students from sixth grade to read books in English in a free fear environment. This research took place in a prívate school in Samborondon, Ecuador. The sampling consisted in fifteen students from the sixth grade whose ages were between ten and eleven years old. The instruments used during the intervention plan were: (a) surveys to students, (2) interviews and analysis and (3) entries from joumals. In this paper we have two main variables: Literatura Circles as an independent variable and students' motivation as a dependent variable. Results proved that EFL students feel motivated to read books in English when they are exposed to Literatura Circles even if they are not fluent in the language. This is possible because they are able to choose the book they like, they share their experiences in small groups, and they are not pushed to speak English only
