520 _aOne of the most frequently mentioned problems worldwide is the lack of hunger that occurs in countries, where it is deployed not only in countries that are developing but also in developed countries. Faced with this social complication, also they stumble upon the remaining food that most people made, where they decide not to donate but to discard. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) "Lost only half of what is lost or wasted might be enough to feed the world" (FAO, 2015). Ecuador is one of the countries affected by this problem, according to the FAO, 15% of the population in Guayaquil suffers from hunger. Due to the analysis of this situation, Banco de Alimentos Diakonía was created by having support of different companies of Guayaquil like: Kellogg's, Unilever Andina Ecuador, Supermaxi, Pronaca, and Cervecería Nacional. This organization acts as an intermediary between food suppliers and foundations that are responsible for providing food to people who suffer from hunger. The objective of this project is to generate action plan from different areas of knowledge, so in that way we can contribute holistically solutions to Banco de Alimentos Diakonía through an internal and external study.
